Imam Shirazi Center for strategic studies specified its latest conference to the topic of “Establishment of Atheism and the Denial of Faith in Modern World.” This conference enjoyed the attendance of a number of cultural activists and university professors from Karbala University. In this conference, Mr. Haydar Al-Jarrah, the director of Imam Shirazi Center counted a few reasons for the spread of atheistic beliefs in modern communities and emphasized that spirituality and the belief in the Almighty God is an alienable part of human’s character. Mr. Hekmat Al-Bakhtani, one of the experts attending this conference, also talked about the reasons for the spread of atheistic beliefs and its cultural and social bedrocks, and finally, he offered a few methods for the protection the faith and beliefs of the public.
