The events of the scientific conference of coronavirus and its psychological, social, and political effects concluded on Friday, Jul, 3rd 2020. The conference, which lasted for three days, was hosted by Annabaa Organization for Media and Culture, Al-Furatain Center for Studies and Researches, and National Elite and Competencies Institution for reformation.
The final session entitled "The political Effects of Coronavirus" was delivered by Bashar Saadon Al-Saadi, the Director of Al-Furatain Center for Studies and Researches.
Al-Saadi established in his lecture that the political effects came as a complement to the social and economic effects.
He called the government to quit using the pandemic as an excuse to buy more time, and escape responsibilities.
From his side, Annabaa director stated: "the third day is over as the workshops and the related dialogue to the coronavirus' mysterious consequences. The hidden fear that we live in, the disease that terrorized the world which caused a series of reactions affecting the international systems, behavior, and living. Not a day passes by without creating a new wave of fear towards the unknown future".
He added: "These discussions represent a growing hope by meeting experts and specialists to understand and diagnose the facts. Therefore, we present some fruitful solutions and hand them to the authorities".
Al-Talikani went on talking: "the last three days were amazingly successful as a result of brilliant dedicated exerted efforts from everyone contributed in these discussions".
He concluded by saying: "the third day of the conference was ended with a speech of the former minister of labor and social affairs Mohammed Shia Al-Sodani, a speech by Mr. Hassan Al-Khafaji, and a speech by hosts; Annabaa Organization for Media and Culture, and Al-Furatain Center for Studies and Researches".
