Iraqi Human rights Observer held the Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhemi accountable for the murder of the protesters as they asked for more than forming investigation committees.
The observer said in press statement: Al-Kadhemi must do more than just forming investigation committees. The statement outlined the weak Iraqi Government that cannot protect the protesters and push the danger away.
The statement added: Al-Kadhemi must take the responsibility of the protesters murder as he is Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces. He, also, didn’t take any step towards stopping the killers from targeting the protesters.
Yet yesterday, seven protesters were killed and fifty others were injured in Al-Habobi Square in the city of Al-Naserya, in clashes between protesters and the people of Sadrist movement.
