Annabaa Organization for culture and media participated in the first media forum held by the Iraqi Center for Media Development in cooperation with the United Nations Development program in Iraq and the prime minister office’s committee of following-up and implementing national reconciliation, under the motto (together we make the future)as it was held in the hall of Babylon International Hotel, with the participation of a group of media professionals, academics and editor-in-chiefs of newspapers and research centers.
Annabaa director, as well as a journalist, Ali Al-talekani said: "the participation came after an invitation by the Iraqi center for media development which they held this conference in order to reach genuine solutions for a supporting media discourse to the national reconciliation”.
He add: "through the forum, we stressed on the importance of holding forums continuously and with different media bodies, because we believe that the meetings and ongoing discussions will have a major impact on media formation in match with the next step and challenge, as the country is going through major crises in the field of security and political differences."
